Michael Strahan will not be appearing on Good Morning America for one more week due to unspecified ‘family matters’.

ABC has announced this news and many have expressed their care and concern. Juju Chang from Nightline and Linsey Davis from World News Tonight have taken his spot on the show since October 26. Strahan is a dad of four children and has been a proponent of providing aid to young families for years.

He has likewise been absent from his role as an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday for the past two weeks. Fox Sports has explained his absence is due to a private matter and Strahan’s representatives have refused to provide further comment. Michael Strahan, a father of four children, has not posted anything on social media since the 25th of October when he advertised his game show, The $100,000 Pyramid. His two oldest youngsters, Tanita and Michael Jr., are from his first spouse Wanda Hutchins, while the 19-year-old Isabella and Sophia are with his second wife, Jean Muggli.

As Strahan works his way through this personal family problem, Good Morning America on ABC broadcasts weekday mornings at 7am ET, with many of his fans and colleagues expressing their assistance.
